Applications in CLIL

 


This session has been dedicated to study applications in CLIL. CLIL teachers can activate a new subject in different ways. The choice of activating tasks will depend on the lesson which follow. These tasks may seem time-consuming. but they are worth implementing. In the long run, they will often make learning more effective.

Teachers can deal with or more of the following aspects of a topic:

  • language
  • knowledge
  • experience
  • thinking
They can also select activating tasks which take into account:
  • interactions
  • multiple intelligences
After the theorical introduction we made activities to activate the diferent aspects of a topic.

Finally, the teacher gave us practical lesson ideas to activate knowledge that we had to desenvolupate like:

  • Competition: quickest or most

  • Red and green cards
  • Props or visuals
  • Video clip
  • Internet
  • Spider diagram

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

In the afternoon we visited the Bolhao market. Then took a boat to tour the Ribera del Duero.
